Antibody Development

This position is responsible for producing monoclonal or polyclonal antibodies derived from various materials such as hybridoma/CHO/293 cell cultures or animal serum, and development recombinant protein from different expression system. Basic responsibilities include performing molecular cloning, cell culture work, protein or antibody expression and purification, conjugation, and associated quality control steps including purity analysis, isotype testing, mycoplasma detection, and specificity measurement by assigned methods. Detailed project documentation, data entry and report preparation are also required. In addition, efforts for technical troubleshooting, inventory and laboratory maintenance will be expected to support team. The scientist or senior scientist will provide direction and mentorship to team members.

Requirements

· Educational: PhD or equivalent degree with course works in cell biology, immunology, biochemistry, or a related field.

· Experience: Proven experience in molecular cloning, transduction or transfection, tissue culture for bacteria and mammalian cells, recombinant protein and antibody purification and labeling, and their validation; Basic knowledge and practice of immunological assays are required; Previous experience of recombinant antibody development is a strong plus; Prior working experiences in an ISO 13485 or cGMP environment is a plus; Strong leadership by providing direction and mentorship to team members is preferred.

· Specific Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiar with software and database for DNA or protein sequence analysis, and data statistical software like GraphPad; Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication skills.
