Accounting Professional

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for support outside professional to file corporate income tax returns for Federal, State, and Local, and prepare and file Sales & Use Tax returns, Property Tax returns, and other taxes. This position is also responsible for reviewing policies and implementation of internal controls.

Responsibility:

• Prepare monthly and annual income tax provisions
• Provide and coordinate outside professional to prepare and file Federal, State, and Local income tax compliance
• Prepare and file Sales & Use Tax returns, Property tax returns, and other local taxes
• Prepare Federal & State tax audit
• Prepare and file Monthly Wholesale Trade Report, Quarterly Financial Report, Annual Wholesale Trade Report and other government requested reports
• Prepare and maintain monthly transfer pricing plan by gathering sales and cost data to analyze TP
• Assist to renew APA (Advanced Pricing Agreement) and assist to file APA Annual Report
• Perform month end closing process for tax
• Research tax issues for special projects
• Check the Scoping result and prepare the annual assessment plan for Internal Control (IC)
• Review the IC Handbook updates prepared by HQ to stay current on IC policies
• Perform walkthroughs to identify business processes, risks, and evaluate control activities and report walkthrough results to HQ IC Team
• Perform the IC Operating Test and report test results to HQ IC Team
• Support the External Audit team
• Perform the Update Test to check if all deficiencies from Operating Test have been cured and report test results to HQ IC team
• Submit Certification form to HQ IC Team after checking number of controls and test results for the year
• Comply with the company’s policy and procedures and other duties as assigned

Expected base salary: $60,000~$90,000 (the salary offered will depend on several factors, including your years of experience, level, education, training, and comparison to other employees already in this role

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Accounting
• Authorized to work for any U.S. employer
• Bachelor degree in Accounting or Business Administration
• Bilingual (Korean and English)
• Proficient in computer, Microsoft Office, Accounting and Tax software. Familiar with  Oracle software
