The Account Executive will be tasked with growing business in developing sectors by forming a detailed understanding of existing TMH business activities and identifying and executing complementary sales strategies. The job involves diverse elements including prospecting for new business, gaining practical market knowledge, qualifying sales opportunities, consulting with prospective customers, and forming multilateral collaborations for innovative projects. This role requires flexibility and creativity to face the evolving challenges of a high-growth startup in a nascent market, as well as willingness and ability to collaborate with TMH’s existing segment leads.
Requirements
- 3+ years in EV, renewable energy, or finance industries in the following capacities:
- Business development
- Business analyst
- Electrical engineering
- Consulting
- Demonstrated ability to operate in ambiguous environments and shift focus
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Managing a pipeline of sales opportunities
- Building diverse relationships with customers and partners
- Experienced doing deals and contract negotiations
Responsibilities
- Originate deals in developing sectors to achieve sales and business development of TMH’s solutions according to revenue and project goals
- Identify customer problems and match TMH solutions to those identified problems.
- Structure approach and drive deals toward closing amidst shifting requirements, varying stakeholders and changing market conditions
- Cold-calling and emailing prospective customers to convey the value of charging and energy management
- High-touch consultation with target customers and partners as their EV charging expert from first interaction until project implementation
- Deep understanding of federal, state, and local funding available to accelerate business opportunities
- Collaborate with partner EVSEs, OEMs, and EPCs to drive sales
- Up to 25% travel

Total Compensation: $135,000 - $155,000 OTE (base + commission)
Starting compensation is based on a number of factors including but not limited the primary work location, experience, and skillset.
This job is a 100% remote role based in United States and requires up to 25% travel as needed for customer meetings.
