Full Job Description

Sigma Defense is seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer to assist in building multiple Azure cloud environments for the Department of Defense. The hired candidate will assist in developing software solutions to resolve implementation challenges with the team and work closely with the Cloud Architect and DevSecOps Engineer in bridging gaps between software and systems. The hired Mid-Level Software Engineer must be willing to work on a new program and help build the environments from the ground up.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Microsoft Azure Cloud experience.
  • Security+.
  • Java, C++, and or Python experience.

Personnel Clearance Level:

  • Candidate must possess an active, DoD-issued TS/SCI security clearance or higher.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Software Engineering or related field of study.

Salary Range: $110,000 - $140,000 annually.

Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):

  • Define implementation details for system architecture in conjunction with other team members.
  • Resolve day-to-day implementation challenges with the team.
  • Map and document system requirements in conjunction with the customer and team.
  • Develop software solutions to run in environment to tie software and systems together to function as designed by team and customer.
