Position Overview: As a Semi Skilled A Technician at Central Moloney, you will be an integral part of our production team, undertaking various tasks related to the manufacturing process for transformers. This role involves operating equipment, performing assembly duties, and ensuring product quality, all while adhering to safety and production guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate production machinery and equipment in accordance with established protocols.
- Assemble transformer components using hand tools and power tools, following blueprints and work instructions.
- Conduct quality checks and inspections to guarantee that products meet specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor production issues as they arise.
- Participate in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist in training new employees on manufacturing processes and safety standards.
- Document production activities and maintain accurate records.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Familiarity with tools, machinery, and assembly techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting production goals.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform manual labor as needed.
- Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as required.
