Position Summary: As a Quality Inspector at Central Moloney, you will be a key player in our commitment to maintaining high standards of quality for our products. You will inspect and evaluate components and assembled products to ensure compliance with industry specifications and company standards. Your keen attention to detail and strong analytical skills will contribute to our goal of delivering exceptional products to our customers.

 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Conduct inspections of raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods.
  • Utilize measuring tools and techniques to assess product specifications.
  • Document inspection results, including any defects or deviations from standards.
  • Collaborate with production teams to communicate quality issues and drive improvements.
  • Assist in developing and implementing quality control processes and procedures.
  • Participate in root cause analysis for product failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Stay informed of industry standards and regulations to ensure compliance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in quality control preferred.
  • Experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects and inconsistencies.
  • Familiarity with measurement tools (calipers, gauges, etc.) and quality inspection processes.
  • Proficient in documenting and reporting findings clearly and accurately.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

 

Physical and Environmental Requirements  

  • Lifting: Able to lift up to 25 pounds unassisted.
  • Environment: Work in a facility with potential exposure to loud noise, machinery, and varying temperatures.
  • Physical Activities: Willing to stand for extended periods and move throughout the manufacturing facility.
  • PPE: Required to wear personal protective equipment, including safety glasses and hearing protection.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and work under tight deadlines.
