Quality Engineering Director
Location: Stuttgart, Arkansas,
Are you an experienced quality engineering leader with a background in metal fabrication, machining, and assembly? Join our team and take charge of quality operations in a 750,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility employing 1,700 dedicated non-union workers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Engineering Strategy:
- Develop, execute, and maintain processes and systems to ensure all products meet customer and corporate specifications.
- Lead the design and implementation of a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS).
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify, validate, and lead manufacturing process improvements that enhance product quality and process yields.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence across the facility.
- Leadership:
- Oversee and direct the activities of the Quality Engineering Department, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and customer expectations.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years in management of a Quality Engineering Department.
- Solid experience in metal fabrication, common machining, and assembly.
- Background in large industrial facilities with at least 1,000 employees.
- Preferred Candidates:
- Individuals with experience living or working in rural Southern communities.
- Excluded Industries:
- Food & Beverage, Oil & Gas, Chemical, Plastics, and Electronic Assembly candidates will not be considered.
- Job Stability:
- No job hoppers—seeking candidates with a demonstrated history of long-term success in previous roles.
