Work Location: White Hall, AR
FLSA Status: Exempt
Shift: 2nd Shift - Monday - Thursday 3:30 pm - 2:00 am
Potential to move to 3rd Shift - Friday, Saturday & Sunday 5 am - 5:30 pm

About the Role: As a Supervisor at Central Moloney, you are responsible for leading and managing a team of production employees in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role is central to driving LEAN manufacturing principles and ensuring the efficient and effective scheduling of production activities. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with a strong background in lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, scheduling, and employee development.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of 2-4 team leads and 20-60 production employees, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, set clear goals, and provide ongoing feedback to team members.
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
- Act as a role model for company values and ethical practices, encouraging a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
LEAN Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement
- Be a primary driver of LEAN initiatives, including implementing and sustaining 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and standardized work.
- Identify and eliminate waste across all production processes, focusing on improving efficiency, reducing cycle times, and enhancing product quality.
- Lead cross-functional teams in problem-solving and continuous improvement projects, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
- Utilize data-driven decision-making to implement best practices and innovative solutions in the production process.
Operational Excellence & Scheduling
- Plan, organize, and manage daily production operations to ensure that production targets are met in quality, quantity, and timing.
- Take a proactive role in production scheduling, working closely with the planning and materials teams to ensure that production schedules are realistic and achievable.
- Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes in demand, equipment availability, or other factors, ensuring that customer delivery deadlines are met.
- Coordinate with other departments, including Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain, to ensure smooth and efficient production flow.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure all products meet or exceed customer quality expectations, leading root cause analysis and corrective actions when quality issues arise.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulatory and safety standards, including ISO, OSHA, and internal company policies.
- Oversee adherence to production schedules while ensuring that all documentation and reporting are accurate and timely.
Resource & Schedule Management
- Optimize using labor, materials, and equipment to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
- Ensure proper staffing levels and training to meet production demands while maintaining flexibility to respond to changing priorities.
- Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to minimize equipment downtime and enhance production capabilities.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field (preferred). High School Diploma or GED Required.
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of LEAN manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
- Experience in production scheduling or related roles, with a solid understanding of scheduling tools and techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in using production management software, scheduling, and data analysis tools.
