THIS JOB QUALIFIES FOR A $500 SIGN-ON BONUS FOR NEW EMPLOYEES!
This position is Monday - Friday 3:30 pm - Midnight.
Overview: Central Moloney, a leader in manufacturing electrical components, is seeking a diligent and organized Material Coordinator. The successful candidate will facilitate the movement and inventory management of materials within our production environment. This role is vital to ensuring that our manufacturing processes run smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials.
- Coordinate and monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages.
- Utilize forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport materials.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and assist in cycle counting.
- Maintain accurate records of material movements and adjustments.
- Collaborate with production teams to fulfill material requests in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements.
Requirements
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics or supply chain management are a plus.
- Proven experience in material handling or warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and practices.
- Forklift certification is preferred; willingness to obtain certification is acceptable.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and moving up to 50 pounds.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in a manufacturing environment.
