Lead Install AV Technician

All A-V Services is hiring a Lead Install AV Technician to join our team. As the Lead Install AV Technician, you will be responsible for executing and supervising audiovisual installation projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently and to high standards.

Your ability to provide exceptional client service, coordinate with team members, and demonstrate technical expertise will be key in this role. We are seeking a candidate who is passionate about AV and thrives in finding solutions to AV problems.

Requirements

Key Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in audiovisual installation, including video conferencing, audio systems, video boards, and control systems
• Strong knowledge of automation systems such as QSYS, RTI, and Crestron
• Proficiency in rack fabrication, cable termination, and system maintenance
• Ability to troubleshoot video and audio signal flow
• Experience in performing needs assessments for different types of spaces
• Ability to independently run live rental events, including equipment setup and operation
• Good understanding of XTEN-AV Design Software and ability to read drawings/blueprints
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
• Physical requirements: ability to lift over 50 pounds, valid driver's license, and clean background and driving record

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associates degree in a relevant field
• Continuing education and willingness to travel occasionally
