CNC Waterjet and Plasma Operator

Welcome to L&L Metal Fabrication! We are excited to announce a job opportunity for a skilled CNC Waterjet and Plasma Operator to join our team. At L&L Metal Fabrication, we take pride in our versatile metal fabrication environment, where we offer our customers a wide range of fabrication options for metal products and equipment. As a CNC Waterjet and Plasma Operator, you will play a crucial role in our operations by operating equipment to cut and shape metal according to customer specifications and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Program CNC machines, including setting cutting speeds and paths for waterjet and plasma cutters
• Effectively produce parts and cut metal to meet customer specifications
• Thoroughly inspect finished products to ensure they meet the required specifications and quality standards
• Safely load and unload materials and equipment from the machines
• Maintain machines by performing routine maintenance and basic repairs
• Prioritize safety by following all protocols and procedures when operating equipment
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure production goals are met

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating CNC waterjet and plasma cutters in a metal fabrication shop setting
• Comfortable with basic math and measurements
• Detail-oriented, with a high level of accuracy and precision in work
• Able to drive a forklift and safely handle materials
• Willingness to work a minimum of 45-50 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and half days on Saturdays as needed
