Youth Tennis Coach

TGA Premier Sports is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Youth Tennis Coach to join our leading school-based youth sports enrichment program for grades K-6!

Our innovative program empowers young players to learn tennis skills, gain academic knowledge, and develop life skills. As a Youth Tennis Coach, you will be responsible for providing quality tennis instruction in a non-competitive, fun, and engaging environment. Our curriculum is designed to run in any environment, year-round, and coaches can lead programs in schools, community centers, gyms, playgrounds, and more. This might be an ideal position for part-time workers, retirees, high school and college students, stay at home parents, teachers and anyone else with a flexible schedule and a passion for working with kids. TGA employees also have the opportunity to work some weekend events, and camps during school breaks. We are looking for coaches to begin training and coaching immediately.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tennis instruction to children ages K-6+.
• Prepare and modify lesson plans based on player skill level.
• Implement TGA's non-competitive program philosophy and develop players' character traits, self-confidence, and sportsmanship.
• Provide a safe and positive learning environment for all players.
• Communicate effectively with parents, school administrators, and program directors.
• Attend training sessions, coaching clinics, and professional development opportunities.
• Adhere to TGA program standards and operational guidelines.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Level 1 IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (preferred).
• Experience playing and coaching tennis (preferred).
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
• Positive attitude and enthusiasm for teaching kids.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to coaching sites.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and complete mandatory training.
