Warehouse Distribution Associate

The Ewing Distribution Warehouse Professional serves as the front line for accurate, efficient and safe distribution of products to our branches and customers. A Distribution Warehouse Professional provides meaningful service to our branches in the most pleasant and professional manner possible. A Distribution Warehouse Professional will support the Branch Manager’s and company’s goals. 

Requirements

• Ability to lift at least 50lbs. 

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Ability to work effectively with others.

• Ability to determine and execute proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on shelf life and space availability.

• Ability to operate powered pallet jacks used in receiving, shipping, storing, and moving warehouse materials and supplies.

• Ability to operate ladders used in receiving, storing, and shipping material and supplies.

• Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use involving limbs and body parts, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.

• Ability to perform basic mathematical computations (e.g., addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, ratios, percentages) for checking, counting, shipping, and tracking material.

• Ability to work independently on projects or assignments without close supervision.
