Ultrasound Technologist

Aspire Medical Staffing is seeking a dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS). This role involves providing high-quality ultrasound imaging services to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.

Location:

Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS) at 3601 S. 6th Ave. Tucson, AZ 85723.

Hours:

Job Duties:

● Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations and procedures on patients and provide appropriate patient care.

● Operate ultrasound equipment, positioning patients, and ensuring accurate imaging for interpretation by physicians.

● Maintain quality control and perform routine maintenance on ultrasound equipment.

● Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and satisfaction.

● Educate patients about the procedure and answer any questions they may have.

Requirements

Qualifications:

● Degree/Education: Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field from an accredited program.

● License: shall have a full, current and unrestricted license in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia) when services are performed onsite on VA property. Who have, or ever had, a license restricted, suspended, revoked, voluntarily revoked, voluntarily surrendered pending action or denied upon application will not be considered for the purposes of this contract.

Certification: Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).

● Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist in a clinical setting.

● Skills: Proficient in performing various ultrasound examinations, strong communication skills, and excellent patient care abilities.

● U.S. Citizenship: Shall be U.S. citizens.
