What you’ll be doing
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Supply Chain Senior Data Specialist is a critical member of the Operations team. Key duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Supply plan both short & long-term horizons
- Align forecast, supply, and demand in support of maintaining Master Production Schedule (MPS)
- Forecast material usage based on sales forecasts and prior consumption.
- Manage forecast weekly and load into ERP system.
- Optimize and maintain finished goods, sub-assembly, and component safety stock levels.
- Analysis of material consumption, highlighting discrepancies between forecast, scheduled and actual.
- Understand WIP and capacity levels.
- Monitor and report daily progress towards achieving production and revenue goals.
- Communicate order priorities to Production Planner and Production Supervisor based on feedback from sales, customer service, and in support of internal goals.
- Identify purchase and make parts planning schedule using combination of ERP system and Daily Open Orders report.
- Expedite and escalate purchase part shortages as needed.
- Prioritize incoming supply with Receiving and Quality teams as needed.
- Review cycle counts, ad-hoc and daily, submitted by Inventory Control to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Generate reports for On-Time Delivery (OTD) and other critical materials metrics.
- Perform updates in ERP system for Supply Chain related data.

- Strong experience in manufacturing planning, supply chain and MRP/ERP systems
What we need from you
- 3+ years in manufacturing planning, supply chain management best practices, materials management, and MRP/ERP Systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business/Marketing, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in SQL and proven ability to analyze and manipulate data
- Experience in Great Plans (GP) or similar ERP system, strongly preferred
- Previous experience in procurement/sourcing or international logistics a plus
- Knowledge in Six Sigma, Lean or Project Management a plus
- Aerospace manufacturing experience is helpful, but not required
- Ability to be onsite in Scottsdale daily
