Special Education Teacher

As a Special Education Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work closely with students, parents, and other educators to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment. You will develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and implement specialized instruction to help students develop academic, social, and emotional skills. Your engaging and creative teaching methods will empower students to overcome challenges and reach their full potential.

We are currently looking to hire Certified Special Education Teachers around Phoenix(San Tan Valley), AZ. These are full-time positions for the next school year 2024-25. The ideal candidate will possess previous school experience as a Special Education Teacher.

Arizona Resource Specialist /Self-contained class or SPED Teacher credentials/Early childhood SPED Credentials

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field
• A valid teaching certification in Special Education
• A solid understanding of special education laws and regulations
• The ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students with special needs
• The ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students
• Experience with assistive technology and other educational tools for students with special needs
