Position Summary

We are seeking a Software Engineering Lead to guide a team of engineers in delivering scalable, robust solutions that are integral to our systems. As a hands-on leader, you will drive innovation, collaboration, and excellence in engineering while directly contributing to the technical success of projects. This role bridges technical expertise with leadership, ensuring the delivery of best-in-class solutions that align with business objectives.

Requirements

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, promoting a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
  • Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and foster career growth for team members.
  • Establish clear goals, track performance, and support the professional development of your team.

 

Technical Architecture and Delivery:

  • Design, develop, and implement scalable, secure, and resilient software solutions.
  • Drive the execution of software projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Leverage APIs, cloud technologies, and modern development practices to build solutions integrated with enterprise systems.

 

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Partner with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to prioritize initiatives and align on technical direction.
  • Work with DevOps to ensure streamlined CI/CD pipelines and robust monitoring of applications.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

 

Governance and Best Practices:

  • Maintain coding standards, system design principles, and adherence to enterprise security policies.
  • Document designs, processes, and technical configurations for knowledge sharing and future scalability.
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies to incorporate best practices into solutions.

 

Continuous Improvement:

  • Actively seek opportunities to optimize development processes and system performance.
  • Inspire innovation and champion the adoption of new tools and methodologies to improve productivity.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or mentoring capacity.

 

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python, with a strong grasp of Object-Oriented Programming.
  • Expertise in API development, RESTful services, and cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, HRIS) and data formats (JSON, XML, CSV).
  • Experience with middleware tools and message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Experience with big data sets and high transaction systems.

 

Leadership Skills:

  • Proven ability to inspire and lead a team of engineers.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
