Position Description
We are seeking a full-time Support Engineer/Analyst to join our Site Support Team in the Network Operations Center. This is a hybrid position based out of Phoenix, AZ, reporting to the Senior Business Manager. Candidate will be responsible for analyzing commercial vehicle credential data from state and federal sources, to ensure we are providing our customers with the correct signal to help them bypass weigh stations nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify commercial vehicle credential data, such as registrations and other vehicle information, across multiple databases.
- Perform data quality analysis to identify, track, and correct data discrepancies from both internal and external sources.
- Manage, interpret, and summarize large datasets effectively.
- Develop and maintain data validation processes, policies, and procedures to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to understand data requirements and to provide insights and recommendations to drive business decisions.
- Stay updated with industry regulations and standards related to commercial vehicle credentials and data management.
Requirements
Required:
- 1-2 years of experience in data analysis and writing SQL queries.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL and Excel.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products, such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, including generating pivot tables and familiarity with Excel formulas.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of commercial vehicle industry regulations and standards.
- Familiarity with commercial vehicle credentials, such as IFTA and IRP (training will be provided as needed).
- Experience utilizing Six Sigma Lean or other continuous improvement methodologies for root cause analysis.
- Understanding of data lake architecture.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI.
