Due to continued growth, we’re looking for an experienced and driven Senior Project Manager/Estimator or Project Executive to join our Phoenix team and lead projects that set industry standards.

Position Overview: The Senior Project Manager/Estimator or Project Executive at Fairbanks Contracting & Development will lead and manage various construction projects from concept through completion. This strategic role requires an individual with a strong foundation in project management and construction estimation, as well as proven leadership abilities. In this role, you’ll oversee project budgets, develop estimates, manage project teams, and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to deliver successful, on-budget, and on-time project completions.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Oversight: Manage all aspects of multiple projects, ensuring completion on time, within scope, and under budget. Lead and coordinate teams while fostering collaboration among stakeholders.

Estimation and Budgeting: Prepare comprehensive and accurate estimates for potential projects, including cost analysis for materials, labor, and timelines. Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to optimize costs.

Client Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, cultivating strong relationships and managing expectations. Address client needs and concerns to ensure complete satisfaction with Fairbanks Contracting & Development services.

Scheduling and Financial Management: Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and cash flow. Provide regular updates to senior management on project costs and proactively identify potential cost-saving measures.

Risk and Compliance: Anticipate potential challenges, implementing strategies to mitigate risk. Ensure that all projects comply with Fairbanks’ safety standards, local codes, and regulations.

Leadership and Mentorship: Guide and support project teams, promoting a positive and productive work environment. Coach team members on best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

·         Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

·         7+ years of experience in project management and/or estimating within the construction industry.

·         Proven success in managing construction projects valued at $5 million or higher.

·         Proficiency in construction estimating software and project management tools.

·         Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

·         Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to motivate and guide project teams.

·         In-depth knowledge of local building codes, safety standards, and compliance regulations.
