Full Job Description

Position Summary:

The Director of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) is responsible for overseeing and leading the S&OP process across the organization to drive business alignment, efficiency, and growth. This role will work closely with the executive team, manufacturing, and sales leadership to ensure the seamless integration of demand and supply strategies that align with business objectives. The Director will lead initiatives aimed at enhancing supply chain efficiency, improving inventory management, and fostering a proactive, results-oriented environment to support Footprint’s business strategies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Examples of key duties are interpreted as being descriptive and not restrictive in nature. Incumbents routinely perform approximately 80% of the duties below.

·Lead and drive the S&OP process, ensuring alignment between sales, manufacturing, and operations strategies to meet business objectives. Influence executive decision-making through strategic data analysis and forecasting.

· Ensure organizational processes to are executed efficiently and effectively

· Execute process improvements to reduce costs, enhance inventory management, and improve supply chain efficiencies.

· Establish, monitor and report key performance metrics, review monthly scorecards, and facilitate performance-driven reviews.

· Ensure consistent communication with leadership and teams, highlighting issues, solutions, and actionable insights.

· Implement a best-in-class S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) process to support organizational growth.

Conduct risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and implement solutions to maintain operational excellence.

·Monitor key manufacturing processes for capacity and demand, identify capacity constraints and provide analysis

· Develop and mentor a high-performing team, fostering cross-functional collaboration and ensuring succession planning for key roles within the department.

· Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by manager.

Requirements

·Proven ability to lead complex business processes and make data-driven decisions that support organizational growth.

·Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

·Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

·Highly organized with superb critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

·Entrepreneurial mindset with the agility to adapt to evolving business needs.

· Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to maintain relationships with and influence key stakeholders.

·Proficient in assessing risks and developing business continuity plans.

·Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing principles is preferred.
