Lookout Tavern is excited to announce an opening for a Restaurant Shift Manager / Keyholder to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be instrumental in overseeing restaurant operations during your shifts, ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction. As a keyholder, you'll be entrusted with opening and closing the restaurant, managing cash flow, and ensuring security protocols are followed.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations effectively, ensuring optimal guest experiences throughout every shift.
  • Open and close the restaurant, preparing the venue for operational success and securing all assets at the end of the day.
  • Train, develop, and motivate the front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional service.
  • Handle guest complaints and feedback with professionalism and grace.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Assist with inventory control and monitoring stock levels while minimizing waste.
  • Collaborate with management on staff scheduling and operational improvements.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience in a restaurant setting, preferably as a keyholder.
  • Strong leadership skills with a passion for developing team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
  • Proficient in cash handling, inventory control, and restaurant management software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
