Project Engineer- Civil

1 Resource Group is currently hiring a Project Engineer- Civil to join our team in the Houston, Texas area. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning, design, and coordination of civil engineering projects. Our focus on quality and precision ensures that our projects are completed on time and to the highest standards. We are looking for someone with strong technical skills and a passion for civil engineering to help us deliver exceptional results to our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning and design of civil engineering projects, including site development, roadways, underground utilities, and drainage systems.
• Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and applicable codes.
• Perform calculations and analysis to support project design and decision-making.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Experience working on civil engineering projects, including site development, roadways, utilities, or drainage systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant software.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
