Job Summary
As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at our Primary Care Clinic, you will provide exemplary healthcare services to our diverse patient population. You will diagnose and manage illnesses, implement treatment plans, prescribe medications, and ensure patients receive the highest level of care.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions: Schedule appointments, conduct examinations, interpret patient histories, and evaluate results of diagnostic tests.
- Plan patient care: Research the latest treatment modalities and design therapeutic plans.
- Implement therapeutic plans: Prescribe medications and treatments, refer patients to specialists when necessary, and follow up to evaluate outcomes.
- Maintain safe and effective care: Adhere to standards of practice, participate in multidisciplinary quality and service improvement teams, and engage in continuing education opportunities.
- Perform minor medical operations within your designated scope of practice.
- Interpret patient information and make critical decisions about necessary actions.
- Provide education to patients and families on disease prevention and help develop health improvement programs.
- Assist with clinic administrative tasks: Document patient records, write medical reports, and coordinate with health insurance professionals.
- Participate in team meetings and consultations with other healthcare professionals to improve care delivery methods.
- Adhere to all medical and safety guidelines to ensure top-level patient care.
Prerequisites / License & Certification Requirements
- Arizona NP/PA License (or able to obtain)
- Completion of US Based NP/PA Program (Excluding Puerto Rico)
