Lookout Tavern is a top nightlife and entertainment venue in Phoenix, offering Scottsdale-level nightlife without the pretension. Our space includes a large, open dance floor, high-energy music, a female-friendly atmosphere, and a welcoming staff that makes every guest feel at home. We specialize in vibrant nightlife events, from DJ-led dance nights to themed parties, and aim to be the best spot for memorable celebrations, including birthdays and bachelorette parties. Our primary nightlife days are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, where we bring energy and unforgettable experiences to our guests.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Nightlife Manager who is passionate about nightlife and creating unforgettable experiences for our guests. This position is flexible, allowing for either a focused nightlife management role or a combination of floor managing the restaurant or even bartending on other days. This role is perfect for someone with nightlife expertise who wants to add value in various ways at Lookout Tavern. This role is excellent for someone who wants significant upward mobility with our mega-club and restaurant coming to Peoria next year.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Nightlife Operations: Oversee all operations on nightlife days, managing team members, maintaining a high-energy environment, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Event Planning: Collaborate on planning and executing events, including DJ nights, themed parties, and VIP events.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and manage bartenders, security, and floor staff, fostering a friendly and efficient atmosphere.
- Guest Experience: Ensure all guests have a safe, enjoyable experience, resolving issues and maintaining high standards.
- Promotion and Marketing: Work with our marketing team to promote events, partner with local influencers, and drive traffic.
- Financial Management: Manage budgets, control costs, and monitor sales and expenses, ensuring profitability.
- Compliance and Safety: Enforce health, safety, and licensing regulations.
- Security Background is a plus: We are dedicated to the safety and security if our staff and patrons.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in nightlife or hospitality management.
- Proven success in a managerial role with excellent leadership and team-building skills.
- Strong understanding of nightlife trends, customer expectations, and venue dynamics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible availability, especially on nightlife days (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday).
- Familiarity with budgeting and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of Phoenix’s nightlife scene is a plus.
