Full Job Description
The Manager of Information Technology will be a seasoned information technology expert with substantial experience operating and leading a multi-divisional industrial construction company at a senior level. The Manager will be a highly collaborative business partner focused on building relationships across the company to achieve strategic goals. The Manager will be a hands-on ‘player/coach’, primarily related to the company’s technical strategy and required implementation of the new software products as needed by the business. The Manager will continue to drive continuous process improvement initiatives through a recurring training curriculum and analytics tools. The Manager will also lead the strategy and implementation of technical infrastructure and cybersecurity initiatives.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Oversee the implementation of the initiatives outlined in the recently developed Technology Roadmap.
- Thought leader with the highest level of expertise as it relates to business process applications and required change management strategies across various divisions.
- Establish strategic partnerships with technology vendors and equipment suppliers.
- Establish a clear strategy around On-Prem vs. Cloud deployment.
- Define, implement, and conduct recurring tests of business continuity and disaster recovery procedures.
- Deliver work as prioritized by the business and maintain reliable systems.
- Create and influence strategies that support long-term business goals, anticipate tactical needs, and maximize value out of internal enterprise applications.
- Create the systems and services, outside relationships, and structures required for the organization to accelerate its growth path and compete in changing business environments.
- Maintain 3–5-year strategy and roadmaps for our enterprise applications, working across executives and business operations to ensure successful implementation while working closely with the business.
- Responsible for planning, executing, and completing technology projects within the organization.
Requirements
- Preferred Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or another related field
- Minimum of 15 years experience leading enterprise technology and platform services for a mid-large company.
- Experience in industrial construction or related company.
- A deep knowledge of enterprise applications technology, including SaaS solutions.
- Experience managing, supporting, maintaining, and improving enterprise applications and platforms like Viewpoint Vista Construction software.
- Experience in the delivery of transformational programs and development of technology strategy.
- Experience in consulting, people leadership, and end-to-end delivery of business solutions.
- Experience in providing direction to 3rd party integration and delivery partners. Ensures the quality and performance of delivered solutions.
- Experience engaging and managing multiple stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
- Experience negotiating with and managing local software vendors, implementation partners, managed services providers, and custom software development firms.
- Experience creating and managing the IT budget, ensuring costs stay within approved limits.
