Position Summary
The Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), reporting to the Director of FP&A, is responsible for assisting in all aspects of financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. The Manager of FP&A will act as a key partner to the business in communicating financial and operating performance to senior management to aid critical decision-making activity and ensure the business performance is aligned with its financial and strategic goals. This is a high-visibility role within the business with opportunities for growth within the organization.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Create weekly and monthly reporting to identify trends and variances to forecast, budget, and historical expenses, provided in a clear and action-oriented format to drive decisions.
- Partner with business teams to create dashboards, tools, and insights that align with each team’s specific needs and financial outcomes.
- Support the preparation and continual improvement in budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Identify, develop, and implement opportunities to streamline and enhance financial processes.
- Work closely with the accounting team to support month-end close and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Complete ad-hoc analysis and reporting as requested.
- Other duties as needed or required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Ability to understand and analyze financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Statement of Cash Flows).
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Effectively communicate and work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency with financial and accounting reporting systems.
- Proficiency with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office applications; advanced level experience in Excel.
- Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve challenges.
- 5 plus years of overall finance experience.
- Commitment and ability to manage time and meet critical business deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and high growth environment.
Preferred Requirements
- MBA preferred.
