The Internal Marketing Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the creation of compelling proposals for both new and renewal business within our brokerage. This position is vital to ensuring that our proposals are well-crafted, accurate, and positioned to meet the needs of our clients and prospects. Unlike traditional marketing roles, this position focuses on internal operations, with an emphasis on producing high-quality insurance proposals for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proposal Creation: Assist in the development and preparation of detailed proposals for new business opportunities and renewals. Ensure proposals are accurate, comprehensive, and effectively communicate our value proposition to clients.
- Data Compilation: Gather and organize relevant information from internal teams, including underwriting, risk management, and sales, to create well-informed and customized proposals.
- Coordination: Collaborate with account managers, underwriters, and other stakeholders to ensure all necessary information is included in proposals and deadlines are met.
- Quality Control: Review proposals for accuracy, consistency, and alignment with client needs. Make necessary revisions and updates as needed.
- Documentation Management: Maintain organized records of all proposals, including drafts, revisions, and final versions.
- Client Communication: Occasionally assist in responding to client inquiries related to proposals and provide follow-up support to ensure client satisfaction.
- Process Improvement: Continuously look for ways to streamline and improve the proposal creation process.

* Special note to applicants: This role is an internal marketing role for our insurance brokerage division. You will be working with our internal marketing team creating and developing proposals and renewals for our insurance book of business. This is not an external marketing/creative design role.
Requirements
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in an administrative, marketing, or support role within an insurance brokerage, financial services, or similar industry is preferred.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge: Familiarity with property and casualty insurance products and services is a plus but not required.
- Organized: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with different departments and manage relationships with internal stakeholders
