Full Job Description

Ally Pediatric Therapy seeks a highly experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) poised for leadership to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to advance your career while helping to co-launch an OT department at our established agency.

We employ an innovative, integrated model that combines the specialized skills of Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) within a neurodiversity-affirming framework. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop and implement client-centered, naturalistic occupational therapy interventions to enhance gross motor, fine motor, feeding skills, and other daily living activities.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including SLPs and BCBAs, to create and execute holistic care plans.
  • Mentor and coach support staff (RBTs) to ensure the effective application of therapeutic strategies.
  • Partner with families to set goals, provide caregiver coaching, and offer support.
  • Deliver personalized one-on-one therapy sessions.
  • Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting care plans as required.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of therapy sessions and client records.
  • Develop and launch OT department.
  • Contribute to leadership efforts in defining and implementing best practices within the occupational therapy field.
  • Oversee clinical and operational processes for the OT department, focusing on people management and clinical excellence.

Requirements

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience.
  • Valid state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience or strong interest in working with autistic children.
  • Passion for early intervention and working with children aged 18 months to 12 years.
  • Commitment to evidence-based therapy practices.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including strong written communication.
  • Ability to excel in a collaborative team environment.
  • Interest in evidence-based feeding diagnosis and therapy techniques.
