Jacuzzi Group is seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Director of Distribution to lead and manage our distribution operations. The Director of Distribution will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to ensure efficient and effective distribution of Jacuzzi Group products. This leadership role requires a strong understanding of multi-site logistics, inventory management, and transportation operations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build and sustain logistics and warehouse strategy to support multiple sites within the Jacuzzi Group Business Unit.
  • Develop and implement distribution strategies to optimize inventory management, order fulfillment, and transportation logistics.
  • Define KPIs, implement, set goals, and develop a scorecard to report continuous improvement toward goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, plan production schedules, and align distribution activities with overall business objectives.
  • Collaborate with Customer Support to implement systems that provide real-time delivery status quickly and efficiently to Customer Support or direct to customers.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance distribution efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with third-party logistics providers, negotiating contracts and managing performance to ensure service levels are met.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and data to evaluate distribution performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Continuous improvement of physical inventory maintenance, cycle counts, space utilization
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and safety standards in distribution operations.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing distribution team, providing guidance, coaching, and training to drive continuous improvement.


  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in distribution management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma Process Excellence, LEAN and 5S principles highly desirable
  • Experience developing programs, processes, metrics, and procedures to enable an effective scale-up of the warehouse and logistics function
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale distribution operations and optimizing supply chain processes.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics, inventory management, transportation operations, and distribution systems.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Experience in negotiating contracts and managing relationships with third-party logistics providers.
  • Proficiency in using warehouse management systems WMS and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
