Full Job Description

Ewing Outdoor Supply is seeking a Credit Collections Specialist II to join our Finance team. As a Credit Collections Specialist II, you will be responsible for managing and collecting on outstanding customer accounts to ensure timely payment and minimize delinquencies. You will work closely with customers, sales representatives, and internal teams to resolve payment issues and provide excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses strong communication and negotiation skills, and has experience in credit collections.

Hourly Pay: $23.08-27.88

Location On Site: Phoenix, AZ

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and monitor payment status
  • Contact customers to collect on outstanding invoices and resolve any payment issues
  • Negotiate payment plans and terms to facilitate prompt payment
  • Identify and communicate potential credit risks to management
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive relationships with customers
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies and disputes
  • Record accurate and timely collection activity in the system
  • Assist with credit applications and credit limit reviews
  • Prepare periodic reports on collection activities and customer payment trends

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in credit collections
  • Strong knowledge of collection laws and best practices
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain positive customer relationships
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Outlook
  • Experience with accounting and ERP systems is a plus
