Sun Valley Spine and Orthopedic is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our growing team. As a CMA, you will be an integral part of our healthcare practice, providing exceptional patient care and assistance to our medical professionals.
Responsibilities
- Assist medical professionals with patient examinations and procedures
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
- Administer medications, injections, and immunizations as directed by medical professionals
- Assist with patient education and follow-up care instructions
- Manage patient records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient referrals as needed
Requirements
- Valid Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification (preferred)
- Prior experience working as a Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting preferred
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and medical software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy
- Fluent in English and Spanish
