CDL Driver

ViaSun Corporation is seeking a reliable and experienced to join our team. As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for transporting and delivering construction and preservation equipment and materials, ensuring their safe and timely arrival at designated destinations.

Key responsibilities:

• Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently, following all traffic laws and regulations.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, wear PPE within designated areas, and ensure proper handling and securing of equipment and materials.
• Plan and optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries while maximizing fuel efficiency.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles, reporting any issues to management.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts, delivery confirmations, and any incidents.
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring positive interactions with clients and addressing any concerns or issues that arise.

To qualify for this role, you should have a valid CDL driver's license and a clean driving record. Previous experience as a driver in a similar role is preferred. You must be detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently while adhering to tight schedules.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL driver's license and DOT medical card is required.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a driver in a similar role is preferred.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and willingness to work flexible hours to meet project schedules.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
