Campus Organizer in Training

About the Program: Movement Labs is embarking on a groundbreaking political tactic incubator ahead of the 2024 elections. Our mission is to innovate and implement strategies that persuade, mobilize, and register voters to counteract Trump's influence. With significant investment in successful initiatives, we focus on organizing programs and turnout tactics that target low-turnout, high-opportunity voters in marginalized communities, persuade Republican voters to support Kamala Harris and enhance voter registration efforts. We aim to secure 50,000 votes for Kamala Harris before the November election.

About the Role: We are seeking charismatic student leaders to join our team as Campus Organizers-in-Training. We are looking for students who have a burning desire to make a positive impact in their communities and identify as creative, social, and hard working. This role will support our turnout efforts by building volunteer teams at universities in these states. As a Campus Organizer-in-Training, you will play a key role in the programs we are running. This role reports to the Arizona Organizer.

Requirements

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Attends Arizona State University full time or part time.
• Lives near or on campus.
• Is a charismatic and passionate student leader.
• Is a team player who can also shine as an individual leader.
• Is familiar with campus bureaucracy and knows how to navigate it effectively.
• Has a strong desire to inspire and empower young people to be a force for change in the world.
• Is active on TikTok and snap chat.
• Is creative and innovative, with a knack for thinking outside the box.
• Is eager to talk to as many students as possible and comfortable engaging with strangers and potential volunteers.
• Is flexible
• Is a self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Is able to work weekends and irregular hours as needed.
• Is bilingual in Spanish and English (a plus).
