Adolescent Therapist

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Mental Health Therapist to join our team at our luxury 10 bed residential treatment facility. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to provide vital counseling and therapy services to individuals, groups, and families. Your primary responsibilities will involve developing personalized treatment plans, conducting group therapy and individual therapy. Through leading therapy sessions, you will empower patients to explore their emotions, develop coping strategies, and make positive changes in their lives. Additionally, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, ensuring holistic and integrated care for our patients. Responsibilities

• Establish positive, trusting rapport with patients
• Diagnose and treat mental health disorders
• Create individualized treatment plans according to patient needs and circumstances
• Meet with patients regularly to provide counseling, treatment and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress
• Involve and advise family members
• Crisis de-escalation skills necessary

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Mental Health Therapist, Counselor, or similar role
• Excellent communication and clinical documentation skills
• Empathy for clients
• Confidentiality with client information
• AZBBHE licensed in the state of Arizona as Associate or Independent
• Passion for working with teens/adolescents
• Knowledgable about substance use and mental health conditions
