Accounts Payable Specialist

Ewing Outdoor Supply is currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance team. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for processing and managing all aspects of accounts payable for the company. This includes timely and accurate processing of invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and resolving payment discrepancies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and has a strong understanding of accounts payable processes.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices and expense reports for payment
• Verify vendor statements and reconcile any discrepancies
• Manage multiple vendor accounts and ensure timely payment
• Review and resolve any payment issues or errors
• Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of payments
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Assist with the preparation of financial reports and analysis
• Stay up-to-date with accounts payable best practices and industry trends

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts payable
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of accounts payable processes and best practices
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
