Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate registered nurse (RN) to join our team as a Labor and Delivery Nurse. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to women and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods. As an RN in Labor and Delivery, you will work closely with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and comfortable deliveries for mothers and babies.

Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods

• Monitor fetal heart rate and uterine contractions to ensure safe delivery

• Administer medications and pain management techniques as needed

• Assist with deliveries, including cesarean sections

• Monitor and assess the health of newborns and provide care as needed

• Educate new mothers on postpartum care and infant care

• Document patient information and maintain accurate medical records

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care for patients

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in [Insert state]

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing

• BLS and ACLS certification
