Travel Medication Nursing Assistant

As a Medication Nursing Assistant at NCG Associates, you will play a vital role in providing safe and effective medication administration to patients in various healthcare settings.

Requirements

• Valid certification as a Medication Nursing Assistant (MNA) in the state of practice
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Medication Nursing Assistant preferred
• Knowledge of medication administration procedures and protocols
• Ability to accurately calculate dosages and administer medications
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support)

Responsibilities

• Administer medication to patients according to physician orders
• Accurately calculate dosages and ensure proper medication administration
• Monitor patients for any adverse reactions or side effects
• Document medication administration and patient response
• Provide assistance with activities of daily living as needed
• Communicate with healthcare team members regarding patients' medication needs and changes

Floating Requirements: Must float to similar units

Experience Required: 2years experience
