Summer Engineering Intern

Qualis Corporation is seeking a Summer Engineering Intern to join our Advanced Technology Groups at our Huntsville, AL office to assist with various challenging engineering projects. An ideal applicant is a current student or a recent graduate of an electrical, software, or systems engineering program from an ABET accredited univeristy. While prior job experience is not required,  candidates will need a high GPA and training in common engineering computer programs, such as Simulink, MATLAB.

Responsibilities

•         Our Engineering Interns are responsible for performing tasks requiring the application of standard engineering techniques and procedures to design, document, test, and deliver various solutions to provided engineering problems

•         Collaborate with multidisciplined team members

•         Test plan and procedure development, execution, and reporting

•         Develop and participate in briefing materials for stakeholders

•         Assisst lead engineers with various project duties and other assigned duties

•         Research solutions to project concerns; analyze, recommend, and present solutions to problems

•         Participate in continuous improvement efforts by collecting and analyzing data

Requirements

•         Must be currently enrolled in a ABET accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Engineering or a related field with a minimum GPA of 3.5.

•         Ability to work full-time during the summer months.

•         Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

•         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

•         Good communication and teamwork skills.

•         Excellent time-management skills

•         Excellent oral and written communication skills

•         Excellent presentation skills

•         Must be able to provide proof of eligibility for employment in the United States

•         Top Secret clearance preferred
