Full Job Description

The Center for Speech and Language is a leading provider of speech and language therapy services in our region, and we are currently looking for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech-Language Pathologist at our center, you will play a crucial role in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating individuals with communication and swallowing disorders.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating clients to assess their communication and swallowing abilities
  • Creating individualized treatment plans to address each client's specific needs
  • Providing therapy services to improve speech, language, and swallowing skills
  • Monitoring client progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals and families to coordinate care
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress
  • Staying informed about the latest research and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology
  • Adhering to ethical and professional standards set by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)

Our ideal candidate will be a compassionate and dedicated professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should have a strong understanding of various communication disorders and be able to provide effective therapy services to clients of all ages.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • State licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
  • Experience working with individuals with communication and swallowing disorders
  • Strong knowledge of assessment and treatment techniques in speech-language pathology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting
  • Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining accurate documentation
  • Compliance with ethical and professional standards set by ASHA
