The Impact You’ll Make: As the Senior IT Manager, Finance and Accounting, you will take ownership of our Financials and Accounting systems, leading digital transformation initiatives, and ensuring governance and compliance. Your leadership will drive the success of critical programs and projects, partnering closely with business leadership to deliver strategic outcomes.

A Day in the Life:

  • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of four, ensuring optimal staffing, performance, and capacity planning.
  • Strategic Oversight: Lead the IT Finance and Accounting business applications team, guiding strategy, implementation, maintenance, support, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Technical Mastery: Own all system configurations, integrations, workflows, reporting, and analytics related to Finance and Accounting.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Provide leadership in cross-functional projects, ensuring the design and implementation of solutions that align with business processes and objectives.
  • Service Level Management: Oversee service levels, including SLA management, incident resolution, and the delivery of smaller projects.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead quarterly patch evaluations and testing activities, ensuring business continuity and driving ongoing enhancements.
  • M&A Integration: Play a key role in M&A activities, leading and executing integration plans with cross-functional business groups.

Requirements

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience: 10+ years of progressively responsible experience, including 4+ years in a leadership role.
  • ERP Expertise: Strong background in implementing and supporting ERP applications, particularly Oracle EBS, with experience leading digital transformation projects from Oracle EBS to the Cloud in the finance domain.
  • SaaS Proficiency: Proven ability to manage and utilize SaaS applications in the Finance area.
  • Advisory Skills: Comfortable serving as a trusted advisor to the business, with the ability to challenge requests and provide strategic insights.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts to management and cross-functional teams.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, or Information Technology from an accredited university.
  • Location: Local to Birmingham, Alabama, or willing to relocate upon hire.
