Offshore Senior Surveyor

Channel Ship Services Limited (CSS) is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Offshore Senior Surveyor to join our team.

Mobilization date: August 10th. travel on the 9th.

Location: Gulf Of Mexico – US waters

Scope: Compatt array installations

The Offshore Senior Surveyor will play a crucial role in overseeing and conducting surveys and inspections of offshore structures, vessels, and equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate measurement and data collection, as well as providing expert analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute offshore surveys and inspections in compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Utilize advanced surveying tools and equipment to accurately measure structures, vessels, and equipment.
• Collect, process, and analyze survey data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare detailed survey reports and presentations, presenting findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with other surveyors, engineers, and project teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior surveyors, ensuring their professional development and adherence to best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and technological advancements in surveying.

Requirements

• Valid certification as an Offshore Senior Surveyor, issued by a recognized maritime authority.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in offshore surveying, with a proven track record of successful projects.
• Extensive knowledge of surveying techniques, tools, and equipment, including GPS, GIS, and laser scanning systems.
• Strong understanding of industry regulations and best practices related to offshore surveying.
• Proficiency in using surveying software for data processing, analysis, and reporting.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate and collaborate with project teams.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced offshore environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to handle complex surveying challenges.
