Teacher Responsibilities:

• Differentiate teaching methods for a variety of student learners
• Establish a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
• Foster positive interpersonal relationships with coworkers and students
• Communicate proficiently with students
• Implement the school’s curriculum
• Utilize appropriate technologies and attend training as needed
• Maintain regular attendance and comply with state and school policies
• Instruct pupils in citizenship and basic subjects
• Develop lesson plans and provide individualized instruction
• Meet with students, parents, and attend staff meetings
• Analyze and translate lessons into appropriate learning experiences
• Model lessons for students
• Use effective classroom management techniques
• Establish and maintain standards of pupil behavior
• Anticipate and address unforeseen crises
• Evaluate pupils' academic and social growth, and prepare progress reports
• Identify pupil needs, make appropriate referrals, and develop strategies for individual education plans
• Contribute eagerly to the team and school environment

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements: To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Valid teaching certification/license
• Proficiency in AVK (Audio, Visual, Kinesthetic) instructional methods
• Demonstrated ability to differentiate teaching methods for diverse learners
• Strong communication skills and ability to establish positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
• Experience with curriculum development and implementation
• Proficiency in using educational technologies
• Commitment to professional growth and development
• Adherence to state and school policies and regulations
• Ability to maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
