ROLE: F&B Manager, Orion Amphitheater
LOCATION: Huntsville, AL
REPORTS TO: Senior Food & Beverage Manager, Orion Amphitheater
POSITION: Full time with Benefits
JOB SUMMARY
The F&B Manager of the Orion Amphitheater is responsible for the day-to-day and overall support in the management of all venue operations relating to food and beverage.
An integral member of the team, the F&B Manager is an entrepreneurial and collaborative forward thinker, communicator, and leader who is focused on driving sales as well as ensuring labor productivity, cost control and effective purchasing, while delivering best in class customer experience and continuing to learn and develop into their own role each day.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement, support and participate as part of the food & beverage team, focused on driving sales, labor productivity, cost control and effective purchasing, whilst delivering a best-in-class customer experience
- Ensure that all venue policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs are followed and completed on a timely basis
- Oversee adherence to policies and procedures across all concepts
- Maintain company standards for environment, product, and service across all concepts at venue, taking direction and guidance from the Senior F&B Manager
- Effectively manage the recruitment, training, development and evaluation of staff
- Work closely with the Senior F&B Manager to develop staff product knowledge, service skills, and overall staff training programs
- Deliver the financial goals of revenue, cost control, cost of goods, staffing, and overall profitability for the food & beverage department
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the venue, employees, and guests.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS + PREREQUISITES
- Candidate should have 3+ years of managerial experience and 5+ years in the hospitality industry
- Experienced in managing a multi-unit food and beverage driven, high volume, high quality operation
- Able to engage in active listening and communicate in a clear, concise and timely manner
- Experience with point of sales, inventory, and staffing systems including the use of Microsoft Office Suite products
- Excels at working in a fast-paced environment with extensive customer service experience
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, weekends and holidays, as well as, extended workdays to support the venue’s operations and business needs
- An amiable personality, sense of humor, and passion for music and the community
