As we continue to grow, we currently have a tremendous opportunity for a CDL Class A Driver who is up for the challenge.
We are currently seeking a Full-Time Class A CDL Driver to join our team. The selected candidate will drive our cardiac PET mobile to various medical facilities from our hub in Mobile, AL. Travel is throughout Alabama and Mississippi with some some overnights based on scheduled route.
Essential Functions:
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT regulations
- Use Electronic Log Device at all times while with the mobile unit in compliance with DOT regulations; required to complete paper log if ELD out of service
- Plan route, accounting for weather, traffic, road conditions, etc. to ensure safe arrival 2.5 hours in advance of first patient
- Drive mobile unit in safe manner to ensure secure transport of equipment
- Keep the mobile interior and exterior cleaned/washed as needed
- Complete monthly Preventive Maintenance for mobile unit as directed including submission to Corporate office; report any noted issues to Driver Supervisor, FleetService, Construction Supervisor and Clinical Supervisors
- Complete maintenance and/or repairs of tractor and/or trailer as directed
- Complete or oversee monthly Preventive Maintenance of AC and Generator
- Complete quarterly Preventive Maintenance of mobile unit
- Perform parking inspections for new sites as assigned
- Provide updates for bird’s eye view binders
- Assist in maintaining supply inventory for hub and mobile units, ensure supplies are properly stocked and organized
- Assist with maintaining clean and organized hubs and mobile units; includes all areas of each (tractor, trailer, bay, office, restrooms, etc.)
- Assist with other duties (generator or package deliveries, etc.) as directed
- Other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Commercial Driver’s License, Class A
- Minimum three (3) years related experience
- Minimum two (2) years experience driving over-the-road preferred
- High school diploma or GED
- Detail oriented and resourceful with strong problem-solving skills
- Computer literate in Microsoft Outlook and Electronic Log Device
- Ability to work well with others in a professional manner
