Full Job Description
We are seeking friendly and efficient Cashiers to join our team! The Cashier will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, accurately handling cash transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. As a Cashier, you will be the final point of contact for customers, and your role will be crucial in ensuring smooth and efficient operations at the point of sale while delivering excellent service to our valued customers. You will also need to be knowledgeable about our products, promotions, and store policies to assist customers with their inquiries.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with opening or closing and other cashier duties.
- Maintain a clean workspace.
- Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming demeanor and provide exceptional customer service at all times.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, using our point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash transactions, including taking and giving change, processing credit card payments, and providing receipts to customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized cash register area, ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked.
- Collaborate with other restaurant staff to ensure orders are prepared and delivered in a timely manner.
- Provide product knowledge and assistance to customers in selecting menu items.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in handling cash and processing orders. Follow all policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
