ETL Developer in Virginia

This role will be operating on a hybrid schedule with three (3) telework days a week on-site out of our Herndon, Virginia office. Due to the nature of this role, US Citizenship/Green Card/Work Authorization is required and is not eligible for sponsorship.

The successful ETL/SQL Developer will set standards for operations, programming and security and will be responsible for developing, testing, improving, and maintaining new and existing databases to help users retrieve data effectively. We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer to join our team. As an ETL Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data extraction, transformation, and loading processes. You will work with Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, and other data tools to create efficient and scalable data pipelines. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and analytical problem solver, with strong experience in data warehousing and data transformation.

Requirements

Job Description:

• Design, implement, and support ETL processes from embedded sources to data warehouse
• Design and support ETL processes for data cleansing, data auditing, and data profiling
• Develop moderately complex ETL objects, according to design
• Design basic to moderately complex ETL processes and related database schemas
• Monitor developed ETL processes in production, and trouble shoot production problems when they occur
• Recommends best practices, standards, and advanced techniques for designing and implementing ETL objects to the development team.
• Leads migration of existing ETL loads and database structures to new database platform
