Operations Associate - Outdoor Center Snowmaker in Vermont

Assist in making snow at the ski facilities, trail maintenance, and assist in all other operational aspects of the Nordic center operations.

This is considered a part time non benefits eligible non-exempt position. The hourly rate for this position is $16.38.

PRESEASON:

• Cutting and removing trees
• Mowing and clearing trails of natural debris
• Work with others to improve drainage and erosion issues on the trails

WINTER / SKI SEASON:

• Receive direction from supervisor regarding when to start making snow
• Responsible for quality and efficient output of snow, adjusting guns as needed
• Equipment inspection and routine maintenance and repairs to snow-making equipment
• Operate snowmaking system
• Operate snow mobile to each snowmaking destinations and facility snowmaking process
• Test and communicate snow quality via radio
