Worship Leader

The Worship Leader is responsible for overseeing and leading worship at his/her designated location in alignment with the values and vision of Destiny Christian Church. The Worship Leader shepherds and develops worship team volunteers and others involved in the ministry and assists in duties required to prepare for weekend services and special events.

Responsibilities

• Lead worship for weekend services and special events as assigned
• Recruit, shepherd, develop and care for the location worship team and volunteers
• Assist with Worship Planning in specific venues as required
• Coordinate instrumentalists, vocalists and other artists
• Perform weekly duties and rehearsals necessary to facilitate worship in services and special events
• Provide volunteers with necessary resources to prepare for and execute worship services
• Maintain an authentic and growing walk with Jesus Christ through the ongoing spiritual disciplines...

The role of the Campus Worship Leader is to create a distraction free atmosphere that leads others to a transcendent experience of God’s presence during praise and worship. The CWL will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and leading worship services at the Lake Worth campus. As the leader of the worship team at their location, the CWL will work closely with their Campus Pastor to ensure that each service aligns with the church's mission “to interest disinterested people in Jesus Christ and grow together into fully-devoted followers of Him.”. In addition, a Campus Worship Leader will look to add other ministerial value to the staff team they are a part of. This will be further clarified as the interview process unfolds.

About us

Red Oak Church is a growing church in West Springfield, MA. We formed as a merger between an American Baptist Church and a non-denominational church plant in 2021. We are based on a reformed understanding of scripture, and hold to the gospel teachings of Jesus.

Qualifying Candidates should have a solid understanding of music arrangement, familiarity with Christian worship and praise music, the ability to engage the congregation in worship, and the skill set to work with and lead a team. Faith in Jesus Christ is essential for the role, and candidates must be comfortable with Baptist expressions of the faith. This position has a potential to become a Worship Pastor position with additional ministry opportunities.
