Welder / Thermal Spray Operator

Piedmont Aviation Component Services is looking for a qualified Welder / Thermal Spray Operator for our Greensboro facility. In this role you will set up and operate all equipment within the Thermal Spray production environment. You’ll be responsible for measuring and controlling product quality and making process changes within the scope of the standard operating procedures to include welding within the plant.

Primary Job Functions:

• Weld applications as needed per prints. Weld stainless steel and aluminum materials.
• Reports to shift supervisor on production status, problems, and deviations
• Reads and applies information contained in specifications to determine equipment settings that impact product outputs.
• Examine material to ensure conformance to established standards.
