Visual Observer - Richardson, TX (TX0009)

DroneUp is seeking Visual Observers to join our Flight Operations Team. You will maintain line of sight to the drone during delivery operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain line of sight during day-to-day drone operations 
• Work with flight operations team at the Hub
• Ensure drone safety is observed at all times
• Maintain and care for drone equipment to make sure all units are running smoothly
• Support safe and effective delivery of packages to customer locations 
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Part 107 Certificate required
• Strong knowledge of 14 CFR Part 107 regulations and airspace
• Experience with a variety of UAS platforms is a plus
• Experience with ArduPilot, ArduPilot Mission Planner, MAVlink protocol, QGroundControl, Mavlink, RFD Tools, Radio Telemetry and DJI Go a plus
